Frightening Friday

Yesterday I was making pumkins and spiders on my Cricut for DD because I still not feeling very crafty.

On my blog hop I noticed there's some candy going around and you have to show off your craft room when I managed to stop drooling I noticed that they all had something in common. They were TIDY, so I decided to give my room a bit of tidy and a chucking out session, we crafters do hoard some rubbish sometimes.

So I leave you will Feliu book who was over the moon when I gave it to him. If you interested in making one of these cute book its from UKS summer cyber crop 2007, hope the link works

Thursday

I'm really struggling this week, I have no drive to do anything crafty, even the brilliant sketches that are around at mo haven't struck a chord with me. I've managed this card from Karin sketch on her Birthday and Christmas challenge blog, I did try to tear the paper but that really wasn't a good thing to do when nothing seems to please me. I used DCWV glitter pad and kid's pad, so I could use it for Spoonful Sugar challenge for Glitter and Bling. Tilda is from the pink collection that arrived before I left for Spain.

Still Freezing

I've discovered that Katharina has designed the sketch for High Hopes blog challenge and I couldn't resist. I love these HH fishes they make a great couple and while I was in Spain I brought some swirly paper but it not paper but a very thin plastic film had to use it like vellum but I love those swirls not sure about the stripes but its growing on me.

Finding it hard to get back to the crafty flow, I've now have a CJ to complete too and I'm now two letters behind in my A-Z journal.

I've noticed there's no update about my Mum, so just to let you know she's back home. We went to pick Dad up to take him visiting the night before we went away and there she was sitting in her chair, looks like she has an ulcer probably due to one of the drugs she uses but she seems fine now.

There's nothing like a long break to lose you mojo, I checked out the challenges lots of lovely sketches and sat in my room and wondered where do I start. So I started with this fabulous Sugar Nellie Snowman that was in my blog candy from Gill and found that the latest Ismaki sketch suited him but I don't think I've done him justice, the good news is that he will go through the normal post.

Just want to say thanks for the lovely comments, well I hope they're lovely because I just hadn't the time to read them yet and I've barely made any headway with my blog list but I will cos the ones I have visited WOW there's loads of gorgeous creations.

I had a great time and arrived home to some wonderful cards which I will be showing but you know I can't photo in the morning so here's the ones that have finally photo OK.

The first is from Sue isn't he fabulous and below is from Jo, just love that saying.

And all the way from the US is Heather's, this card arrived in time for me to take it to Spain so it's a well travelled card.

The next one is one that my Sis made, love all the different papers the sad thing is I actually know who made them.

There'll been more tomorrow.

Friday 24th

I couldn't go to a crop and not do at least one Jake layout, which is where this one comes in. It a really simple layout but I faffed about so much it too ages. If you click on it, it will go large and you can see I doodled dots on the stars and the number 2.
Our holiday is coming to a end and we will be home over the weekend and I'm hoping I might manage to get to the Scrapbuddies crop on Sunday especially has we get a hour extra in bed due to the clocks going back on Saturday night.

Wednesday 22nd

My Niece has arranged a few Mother and Daughters nights out, they're great fun, sometimes if she not working my daughter manages to come too, if not I share my niece. Its really hard to get good photos when everyone complains that they don't want their photo taken but its nice to keep a record of such good times. Both layouts papers are out of the Scrapagogo kits, I do love them it takes the pain out of choosing matching papers, I do think there may be a scrap of paper on the one below from another LO I've done.

Monday 20th

Just when you thought it was safe, I found a Christmas card that I haven't blogged yet, I've used BG figgy pudding and I've used a sketch but I've forgotten where from, the sentiment is Francoise Read new Christmas words and of course the sweet cow is a Penny Black. The holly is cut using the cricut, christmas cheer and the border is those marvellous inkadinkado stamps.

Saturday 18th

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
Can you believe it but this photo was taken 30 years ago, wished my figure stayed the same.
Today we are now at Tossa de Mar where Sis has her apartment and plan to celebrate my birthday today and my Hubbys tomorrow. Yes we are both Librans, we both are very indecisive it a wonder anything gets done because neither of us want to make the decision.

Friday 17th

I love this LO I did at the Every Moment Matters crop, it came together so quickly although originally I wasn't going to use pink, so I have to thank my Sis for coming up with the large BG chipboard letters. The paper I'm not sure what they are they came with a kit from Scrapagogo kit but I think it could noteworthy by Making Memories, the lacey ribbon for poppicrafts and the punches for the flowers and the threading water strip.

Typically I've photo this in the morning and I'm not sure why but I can't get a really sharp picture unless I photo in the afternoon, how the camera worked this out I'm not sure unless there's a prob with the camera operator.
Today we leave Madrid on the TVE or is AVE not sure which but its a fast train and we should arrive in Barcelona in two and half hours but BIL wanted to have lunch on the train so we had to go First Class it cost more than the flights!

Thursday 16th

So another entry to my A-z journal, I made this at Scrapbuddies crop and everyone thought I was mad scrapbooking a mug of Tea, but has I explained in the journalling under the corner, that I can't start the day without one or last for more than a couple of hours before I have to put the kettle on. The layout is based on a pagemap but it had flowers on that so wasn't going to work with a mug of tea but the button worked brilliantly and the papers are Scenic Route. When I come back I've two more entries to do U and V and I'm already stuck on U.
